Samsung Galaxy E5 Review

This slim Samsung smartphone is meant for youth and will face tough competition from Chinese manufacturers who have managed to put up very competitive devices in the same price bracket. Let’s take a closer look at the hardware used inside.

There is an 8 MP camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording on the rear surface and a 5 MP selfie shooter on the front side. The front 5 MP selfie camera can capture wide angle selfies. You can also use voice commands and palm gesture to shoot selfies. Samsung has also provided with a face beautification feature to make the front selfie camera more appealing.Internal storage is 16 GB and you can further use another 64 GB of secondary MicroSD card storage. This is good enough in this price range and should be well suited for most users.

All in all I recommend this phone big time to anybody looking for decent looking budget phone Flipkart is offering the phone at great price.

OnePlus One Strategy

Last month I have come across this stylish looking phone, oddly known as OnePlus One. To be candid, name enough captured my attention. Then I came to know about this stylish phone that has all the trapping of a feature loaded phone. As an avid iPhone user, I am usually biased towards the android phone. But I have to say this phone has great user experience.

Blackberry Q10 will be making it's debut in April or May. But I would advise all the readers to wait for Q10 instead of buying Z10.

Rahul Dravid's take on Patience

My wife and I have built a new home with a lovely garden which houses  lovely bamboo trees. I got reading on the Chinese bamboo and learned  that the tree takes 5 years, 3 months to grow to its whole height of 80  feet. Yet, for the first 5 years, you only see a tiny green shoot, but  in the next 90 days, it grows into a full-fledged tree. But in those  first 60 months, it is growing its strong network of roots underground,  to support the tree.  In an era of instant gratification, we settle for  shorter trees, but remember patience has its reward. These are your  years of growing that strong network of roots but be sure when you  finally achieve your success, people will call it “overnight success”.  If only they knew of the Chinese bamboo!

Let's pretend this never happened

This book came as a new refreshing take on book reading. It has some satirical, witty and at times philosophical take on strange childhood of Jenny Lawson. After finishing the book now I can look back at the cover of the book and now I can have a hearty laugh. Some of the most inspiring portions of the book I liked are -

"I can finally see that all the terrible parts of my life, the embarrassing parts, the incidents I wanted to pretend never happened, and the things that make me “weird” and “different,” were actually the most important parts of my life. They were the parts that made me ME.”

“Because you are defined not by life’s imperfect moments, but by your reaction to them. And because there is joy in embracing – rather than running from – the utter absurdity of life.”

“I see us becoming comfortable with our own brand of dysfunctional functionality, our unique way of measuring success.”

“I wish her to have love and enough heartbreak to appreciate it.”

Heaven

Closer to Heaven
Some say that "True heaven is place on earth", it's very much true thing. When you have peace within your inner self, world seems like a heaven. For me the peace lies in simplicity. If we make our life simple then true peace is not far away. Above image depicts the lonely man sitting at the coast. He is looking at the sea and trying to ascertain the purpose of his life through his past actions. He is trapped between past and the future. Past scares the hell out of him and future seems very dull but he know deep down inside that he has been on the earth for some special and this thought make him feel alive. This thought has been alluring him for years and making his life miserable.

The color of the clouds in the image defines the circumstances that life has brought him. But deep down inside him he knows that he is not far from achieving his calmness. This thought is what I call a way to attainment of peace. The man in the image is well aware that no matter how gloomy situation looks, if he has the peace he will be through. As he has been through many ups and downs of his life, he is relaxing at the thought of attaining inner peace.

The sea ahead of him shows him the endless possibilities that future holds. Possibility of dreams is the thing that will fuel him for the years to come. And the sea tells him dream and dream because there are infinite potential in him. Whenever he would be down,the sea would remind  him of chances. If there would not be any hope then human life would be like river without water. To me the peace is simply knowing your inner self. The image aptly defines that, as the person is eager to know the his meaning of his life. In today's times, the basic problem with people is that they don't know what  they actually wanted to do. Only if they do know what they are built to do, peace will surely knock their door. Because what ceases the peace is the direction. Lets take it another way, if I were to say 2,4,6,8  and ask you to tell me next number then you will be comfortable, why, because you know what to expect, you are in peace. This example might sound odd but it precise to the fact that peace lies in realization. So to attain the highest level of peace one should go to serene place like the one in the image. And ask themselves the basic question of their life. And the moment they will do that they will come to know what was missing form their lives and how they fooled themselves into believing that materialistic things will give them peace of mind. And the amazement of  this discover is sure because in this chaotic world more than anything else we need peace in order to save our soul. So next time when you are alone try doing something like that and don't be surprised when you come across life altering answers.

Saving Private Ryan

Saving Private Ryan
Last night I have seen one of the best movies of all time. Its called 'Saving Private Ryan', the camaraderie, brotherhood, discipline delegation shown in this movie is such a inspiration. The story sets in the time of  world war II. John Miller (Tom Hanks) is the captain of squad and he s assigned the task of searching James Francis Ryan (Matt Demon) because all his three brothers have died in the war and chief of staff of American Army wants James Ryan to leave the war go and go back to his mother.There are so many lessons I can draw from this movie. Depiction of army life was real, as it helps to understand how army works. I liked the attitude of soldiers  that no matter what mission given to them they won't rebel and question, they will just do it. In this movie, in order to find Ryan they lost two soldiers but they did not care, it was mission assigned to them by their seniors and at all costs they have to complete it. Imagine if we can do it in our own lives. I mean, why don't we plan our life, tasks, goals like the army chief and follow the orders like soldiers in the army do. All the problems of procrastination and lack of goals will vanish if we follow that path. Tom Hanks, undoubtedly the best actor America has ever produced  He has the ability to show emotions with utmost subtlety  I loved the scene in which he spills out his emotions when he think of his men and his family. And then sincerely do what his job without giving heed to the emotions.

Things that life told me.

I am writing this because I think I should write this. I am 21 years old I think I am re-discovering myself. Last 5 years of my life was simply great if these things would not happen I would not be at this place writing this stuff. These 5 years will shape the rest of my life. Because I made so many mistakes that in future it would be easy for me to live life.

                            Hell yes the mistake I have made do effect me in the future but time will soak it and these things seems as if they were never existed. That is the beauty of time. Time does make things bad but if time is used properly then it is advantageous. This document is not some kind of self help stuff but my personal experiences.

                      I am still struggling to live the life I wanted. In my view if you want something in life you should first know what you really "actually" want.  I am having this problem as of now that I often change my mind everyday. I known I have to be something but I don't know what. That is the fault in the process. I have heard that be specific on what you wish and as the bible says "whatever your mind conceives and desires; and if you believe you can then surely you will have it." I didn't put it right way but still that is true to extent.

         My problem is that I am inconsistent in what I want. I mean the spark or fire that ambition creates in my mind is missing. I think I was so busy in planing that I forget to execute it.

       Moving a bit away from the topic, I have realized who is my biggest enemy and his name is Prateek Jain. I have observed that whenever I do something wrong or feeling tired to do things prateek comes and criticizes me and advice me to take some sleep instead of motivating me. In life the hardest criticism is that you take it from yourself.  MK Gandhi once said - if you don't give your respect they can't take it". The thing I learned that we can take control of ourselves but for that we have to be proactive. We need to realize that we have the freedom.

Whatever I have written above nothing but a plain truth. I am writing this stuff for me. So that it can act as my bible.

Few minutes ago I have learned that you can't count on anyone except yourself. I mean all my life I expected other and guess what I have always been let down. The thing in life that you have come alone and you should walk alone and you will go from this world alone.

The polythene effect  -   I just finished a movie called American beauty, in that the there was a video of polythene going freely along the wind. That to me is the complete freedom. I wanted to be that polythene and winds of desire takes me to different heights. I know its easy for me to write down this here and come up with completely different idea. But I think thats where I falter. I doubt things and its doubt not curiosity. I think I need to have belief in order rise up to all new zone.

For me to have belief I need to believe things without a shadow of doubt. I know beliefs can be shaken but they can be cemented with imagination.

We all have one life to love and I think I should enjoy every moment of it. Whether its failure, success or anything that destiny throws down at me. Anything. I know as of this moment I am writing things that I never thought of.

I walk alone

I know Life ain't easy;
Its full of all the negativity;
All this world know is just to demean the talent;
Boy, Do I care;

Sometimes I do; But what I get is nothing;
Thats why I love to walk alone;

People say you can't;
Buddies say u ain't capable;
Parents tell what to do;
where is my freedom, I sometimes question myself;
Thats why I love to walk alone;

you know what your fear fears;
he doesn't want you to face him;
becasue he knows his death is certain;
Thats why I walk alone;

It's not an end (My debut Poem)

Plot - A young man is so depressed because of his failures, so he decides to commit suicide. Just before excecuting such act, a voice from nowhere struck to his ear. The voice says -

         Why are you angry on yourself?
         You got what you deserve.

          You’re thinking that it’s all over,
          But you’re damn! Wrong.
          What you need at this time is nothing,
          But an inspirational song.

         Young man, what you lack is consciousness,
             That led you to  suicide.
          But you know something,
              Overcoming this problem will give you a new ride.

         Ending yourself won’t make you anything,
         But a model of Insane.
         Why don’t you understand my man! that,
         Success and Failures are just life’s game.

         You’ve made a mistake,
         So you to pay a price.
         But determine in mind that,
          You will rise.

It’s not an end just a hurdle of life.
Life never ends until we failed to tend it.
